As a national high-energy high power laser infrastructure, LULI makes currently accessible to the whole high energu density plasma physics research community two competitive facilities (laser chains and associated experimental areas): LULI2000 et ELFIE.
Wavefront correction systems (adaptive optics) are implemented on all the laser chains. In order to optimize the operation process of the facilities, and following brainstorming sessions (including users), irradiation geometry of the various experimental areas have been frozen.
